Seals in Stores

A Summer Art Project to raise money for a local Non Profit led by the Harwich Port Merchants in collaboration with Harwich Culture. Seals are cut and designed by Eric Czech with Cape Cod Wooden Whale then turned over to local Artists within the Community and the 204 Cultural Arts Municipal Building for its glitz and glam. Once finished the seals are on display at local merchants where we accept bids for each creation. We conclude our Seals in Stores with Seals in the Park Event. Scheduled for August 17, 2024 12pm-2pm at Doane Park. Final Bids will be taken during the first hour of the event then the final winners will be announced. In the event of rain it will be held at the 204 Sisson Road, The 204 Cultural Arts Municipal Building.

Seals in the stores is meant to provide creative tourism where we invite people to discover the Town of Harwich in a new way by gaining an experience. The plus side of Seals in Stores is the Harwich Port Merchants raise money to support a local non profit. For Summer 2024 we are excited to say that recipient of funds will be The Children’s Center in Harwich an organization that provides a self supporting child care program.
